Festival Weekend: A Women's Layering Edit

Lowlands and Mystic Garden Weekender both run through Sunday, and the women’s edit we keep coming back to this week is built around layering, not costume — patchwork and pattern from Chopova Lowena, worn over quiet basics that let it stand out instead of competing with itself.

The layer: Chopova Lowena

The Patchwork Oversized Hooded Fleece is the piece — every panel cut from a different archive fabric, so no two are ever quite the same, and oversized enough to wear over everything else on this list. Underneath, the Woodland Baby Oversized Jersey keeps the top half from getting too loud too fast.

Chopova’s prints need a plain foil, which is where DRKSHDW comes in — the Cropped Basic Tank in Milk Wash is worn on its own or layered under the fleece depending on the hour, and its washed-out, undyed finish is about as far from “festival glitter” as it gets — which is exactly the point.

The object: Jacquemus and Chopova Lowena
