Festival Weekend: The ANSH46 Men's Edit
Lowlands and Mystic Garden Weekender both open this weekend — three days at Walibi Biddinghuizen and three more in the woods at Zeewolde. Different crowds, same problem: how do you dress for a field that’s warm at 2pm and cold by midnight, in an outfit you can still wear to close the shop on Monday.
Here’s what we’re reaching for.
The base: 123 Rivington
The METANOIA USO SWEAT in Jet Black is doing most of the work here — heavyweight jersey with enough structure to hold its shape after ten hours on your feet, and dense enough to double as a layer once the sun drops. Rivington cuts everything a size roomier than you’d expect, which is exactly what you want when you’re moving between stages all day.
The cut: Acne Studios
Underneath, the RW-UX-TROU000002 in Dark Navy — a wide, unisex trouser in a workwear-adjacent cut that reads considered rather than “festival costume.” It’s the piece that keeps the outfit from tipping into fancy dress.
The finish: Rick Owens
Boots and sunglasses are non-negotiable at a festival, and we’re not compromising on either. The Beatle Gabe leather boot in Black is built to survive a field that turns to mud by day two, and the Tower sunglasses are the one accessory that reads as well at 2pm on a stage field as it does back on the Van Oldenbarneveltstraat.
Style code, if you’re taking notes: oversized on top, structured on the bottom, and don’t skimp on the boots.
