Most Italian fashion sells a dream of the city: Milan, the Riviera, a certain kind of polish. Magliano looks the other way. Since founding his label in Bologna in 2017, Luca Magliano has built collections around the people of the Italian province, the eccentrics and the outsiders, and found something poetic in the ordinary. The result is menswear that feels closer to portraiture than product.

Bologna, not Milan

Magliano's world is the small town, the local bar, the wedding that runs late and the man who still wears his father's coat. He dresses those characters with care and a bit of mischief. In 2022 the label received the Karl Lagerfeld Prize at the LVMH Prize, a moment that put that very personal vision on the international map.

Tailoring that slouches

The signature is tailoring that refuses to sit up straight. Proportions are distorted, trousers are full and long, coats are oversized and fabrics carry real texture. There is a knowingly imperfect finish to everything, which gives the clothes a lived-in dignity. It is romantic, slightly rebellious and very Italian, just not in the way you expect.

What we have

Our Magliano selection covers the whole range. The Chilometro Coat in blue is the statement piece. The People's Pant, in black and mud, is a good entry point into the brand's tailoring. For something more casual there are the Provincia Trackpants in black and the Nudo Serafino Long Sleeves in brown, and the Arlecchino Belt and Slim Belt in light brown finish the look. And then there is the Panenka, made with Veja, in titanium and amarante: a sneaker named after one of football's most audacious penalties, which is about as Magliano as it gets.

Fit

Magliano is cut with volume on purpose. Take your usual size for the intended slouch; size down only if you want a cleaner line through the shoulders.
