Charlotte Knowles, who established her namesake label shortly after graduating  from Central Saint Martins in 2017 with her partner Alexandre Arsenault, brings  together elements of deconstructivism, minimalism and utilitarianism for a  distinctively feminine ready-to-wear. Growing from the original two-person project  into an internationally acclaimed label with collaborations, the brand has become  widely known for its experimental designs that follow an unexpected silhouette.  Rebranding as KNWLS for FW21 to reflect the studio’s expanding practice, they  offer corsets and tank tops styled with semi-sheer negligees that challenge  fashion's codes. Hyper-stretchy flares and form-fitting dresses sport all-over  patterns that are both subtle and striking, while leather handbags boast sharp  angles and interesting textures as part of their exploration of design aesthetics.  Crossing boundaries between tradition and avant-garde by playing with  concealment and revelation of the body, Charlotte Knowles continues to make its  mark on the industry.
