Eifles: graphic tees that arrive already worn in
Some brands explain themselves in long press releases. Eifles does the opposite. There is very little written about the label or the people behind it, and that seems to be the point: everything you need to know is in the garment. Eifles is new at ANSH46, and it is one of the more quietly exciting additions to the store this season.
The product does the talking
Eifles makes graphic T-shirts and hoodies that look as if they have been worn for years on the first day. The graphics are faded and cracked on purpose, and every piece gets a signature vintage wash that softens the colour and the hand of the cotton. It is the feeling of a shirt you found in the back of a vintage store, without the guesswork on fit or condition.
Cut and sewn, not printed on a blank
What separates Eifles from the endless supply of graphic tees is the construction. The garments are fully cut and sewn rather than printed onto a stock blank, which is why the shape is so specific: boxy through the body, slightly cropped, with a shoulder that drops just enough. It sits the way a good vintage tee sits, and it keeps that shape wash after wash.
Built by word of mouth
Eifles has grown with almost no advertising. Its following came through athletes, musicians and people who simply asked where a shirt was from. For a label that says so little about itself, that is the best kind of endorsement.
What we have
The first Eifles delivery at ANSH46 is all about the essentials of the brand: the Faith Tee in vintage black, the Menage Tee in vintage white, the Mugshot Tee in both vintage black and vintage white, and the HH Hoodie in faded blue. Because of the boxy, cropped cut, most people stay true to size; size up if you want a longer, looser drape.
